Blessing Box

I want to thank everyone for the food item donations and time given to checking on our Blessing Box over the last year. You have been amazing! As we mentioned earlier, our box has a lot of traffic and is emptied quickly (maybe within hours, but for sure by the next day). To help maintain our supplies, if you are able to pick up an item or two for the Blessing Box, we would appreciate it. We have containers in the back of the sanctuary and on a table in the Fellowship Hall. If you are checking on the blessing box, that does NOT mean that you are having to purchase food for it. We have food collected in the containers, and you can pull from that to add items to the box. We will also be purchasing items for the box, using Outreach money. Please be sure to check the expiration date on the food items.

To help keep water out of the Blessing Box, please lift up on the doors and be sure that the bottom of the door is pushed in completely. When we had rain a few weeks ago, items at the bottom of the Blessing Box got wet. If you have paper packaged items, like single servings of oatmeal, please put them in the Ziploc bags or make sure they are at the top of the Blessing Box. Thank you.
